Pregnancy is a gift for a woman, and we ensure you get through this beautiful journey successfully.
When you are trying to conceive, stop using the contraceptives and birth control pills. Keep track of your menstruation cycle and choose your days likewise. If you have been trying lately to conceive but to no effect, you can consult Dr. Gupta and get yourself checked along with your partner.
Note: Conceiving is a process that sometimes needs to be medically supervised. You can reach out to us anytime you want.
If you have been trying to conceive lately and miss your period, there are chances of you announcing the good news soon. Other common symptoms you might observe in the initial stages of pregnancy include fatigue, sore breasts, increased basal body temperature, morning sickness, and frequent urination.
Note: In case you have been noticing any of the symptoms mentioned above, get to your gynecologist for your first scan.
The first scan of early pregnancy scan is essential to confirm pregnancy and the time of conception. Your first scan will probably be done between seventh and twelfth week. It helps you to know if the baby’s growth is normal and several other details of your pregnancy.
- Presence of heartbeat
- Gestation of the pregnancy
- Viability of the pregnancy
- Number of embryos
- Any internal bleeding
- Position of the pregnancy sac
You can plan your baby’s birth early and talk about it to your doctor. Today, water birth is one of the popular childbirth methods. At the time of childbirth, you will go through labor. It is a process of giving birth that starts with different signs, such as:
- Leaking fluid or vaginal bleeding
- Regular contractions that come closer over a period of time
- Abdominal cramps
- Mow, dull backache
Note: Consult the possibilities of water birth with your doctor. If not recommended, you can go with normal or caesarean delivery depending on your health condition.
Being a new parent seems a dreadful task, but you will soon realise it is a fantastic feeling. Parenting comes with a lot of responsibilities, and we make it easier for you with essential baby care tips, such as:
- Handling the baby
- Umbilical cord care
- Diapering the baby
- Massaging the baby
- Bathing the baby
- Feeding the baby
- Your sleeping basics
- Your eating patterns
- Essential vaccinations for the baby
- Necessary tests for the baby
It is recommended to breastfeed your newborn for at least the first six months. You should feed your baby on demand – the baby may indicate hunger by crying, making sucking sounds, putting fingers in the mouth. Get in touch if your baby doesn’t often eat.
Note: You should feed the newborn every 2-3 hours. When breastfeeding, nurse the baby for 10-15 minutes at each breast.
